In the heart of historic Chester, we were tasked by Magnet to transform an old, heritage building into a modern and luxurious kitchen showroom. This case study explores how a building, several hundred years old, was redeveloped in only 7 weeks to be back to its former glory.
The brief was to create a showroom that worthy of its prime location on a busy Chester High Street. A premium fitout for a premium product was the brief. The challenge for the Icon Projects team was the age of the building and its heritage status.
Previously tenanted as a bar and a restaurant, we were tasked with combining the two units together to open up the space and provide roomy displays for customers to get lost in their thoughts.
The finished product is stunning and feels perfectly at home nestled amongst some of Chester’s finest shopping destinations. Intense planning, organisation, and transparency of information through our bespoke project management software were all to thank for completing this project in such a short space of time. Not forgetting the efforts of our dedicated teams and supply chain of course. It truly was an example of what can be achieved when all parties are pulling in the same direction.
